At Wivenhoe Community Church we love to create spaces where people can ask questions, share ideas, and grow in their understanding of faith. Throughout the year we run different courses in Wivenhoe, each designed to be welcoming, informal, and open to everyone.

We usually run an Alpha Course. The Alpha Course is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith over dinner. Alpha provides a relaxed setting to talk about life’s big questions, from Who is Jesus? to How and why do I pray?. Each week includes a short video or talk followed by open discussion where no question is off limits.

We’ve recently completed a course and it was a great opportunity for people from Wivenhoe and Colchester to connect, share, and discover more about faith together.

We are planning future courses, which may include another Alpha Course as well as other opportunities to explore Christianity in a friendly, informal way.
